Wellman Hall
University of California
Berkeley
Built 1912
John Galen Howard designed this Classical Revival building, one of four buildings
in the Agricultural Complex and University Hall.
The Agricultural Complex, located on a rise near the University Avenue entrance
to the campus, contains three Classical Revival buildings around a court. Wellman Hall,
the focal building, is flanked to the rear by
Hilgard Hall
and Giannini Hall. The three buildings are visually tied to
University Hall by Mediterranean landscaping
of olive trees and stone pine trees.
