Saint Joseph's Church, Parish Hall and Rectory

Built 1913

John J. Foley (1882-1946) designed this Romanesque Revival church. Some other churches designed by Foley are:

  • 1924: St. Paul's Catholic Church, Winnemucca, Nevada

  • 1929: Star of the Sea Convent and School, 4420 Geary Boulevard, San Francisco
  • 1938: St. Elizabeth Church, 14095 Woodland Drive, Guerneville
  • Saint Joseph's Church was damaged by the Loma Prieta Earthquake on 17 October 1989 and was vacant from that date until 2018.

    Saint Joseph's Church is also San Francisco Landmark 120.
