Goodman Building

Built 1869
This building was constructed by Joseph Emeric from France as his residence. It remained in his family until 1899 when his granddaughter sold it to
Abraham and Sarah Goodman from New York. The Goodmans ran a tailoring business on the ground floor and lived above the store.
After surviving the Great Earthquake and Fire, the building was extensively repaired and modernized.
The Goodman Building is also National Register #75000473.
