National Register #90000550
Edgar Frisbie House
1246 East Street
Redding
Built 1887

This Italianate residence was built Edward Frisbie, a wealthy businessman who once owned much of the land occupied by Redding today. It is one of the few surviving buildings from the early days of Redding.

Today, partially hidden by a hedge with a gas station and a parking lot as neighbors, it houses a masseuse and other businesses. Sic transit gloria mundi.
